RIVERSIDE, Calif. A motion simulator ride is part of the "Star Trek" exhibit that opened Friday at the Riverside Metropolitan Museum.

The exhibition is called "Where Science Meets Science Fiction" and allows visitors to share the outer space experience of "Star Trek" cast members.

"The 'Star Trek' exhibition is part of the collection that is from Paramount studios. It shows costumes and props and other articles from the series as well as the motion pictures," said museum director Ennette Morton.

The exhibits come from all five "/*Star Trek*/" TV series and eleven feature films. They're open seven days a week through Jan. 2.
