The tornado damaged several houses but completely flattened the house belonging to the Lee family. They were at work when the tornado hit but their dog Kiran was home alone.
Firefighters searched for the dog but could not find him so the Lees came back the next morning to looki for themselves.
They heard a whimpering when searching what was left of the bedroom and found the dog trapped behind a collapsed bedroom wall.
The fire department returned and set a very excited dog free to see his family again.
