Man waits in line before robbing Ventura bank

VENTURA, Calif. The heist happened Friday around 2:30 p.m. at a Bank of America branch on 2698 E. Main St.

According to police, the suspect showed the teller a gun that was tucked into his waistband.

The teller complied with the robber's demands and gave him an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then left the bank through a back door and headed in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male between 37 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds. He was seen wearing a dark-colored baseball hat and had a goatee.
