NorCal woman found after 6 days in woods

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. A man and his son found Debra Collins suffering from hypothermia a little about noon Saturday. She was on an unmarked trail in a remote park in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Authorities said Collins had fallen during a hike, injuring her ankle and could not walk.

Collins appeared in good spirits as rescuers carried her down the mountain and took her to a hospital.

She had no food during her ordeal, but she was able to get water from a nearby creek.
