Comedian and "Community" star Joel McHale is sticking around for two more seasons "The Soup," a series that recaps and satirizes talk shows. McHale has served as the show's host for seven seasons.

The show recently hit the 300 episode mark. News of McHale's renewal was first reported by Deadline. Beyond his duties on "The Soup," the comedian/actor has three movies lined up for next year including "Spy Kids 4" with Jessica Alba. McHale is also set to host the Independent Spirit Awards in February.

Meanwhile, a familiar face will guest star on McHale's "Community". Former "Cosby Show" star Malcolm-Jamal Warner will join the comedy on January 20 for a three-episode arc, according to TV Guide.

The show centers around a study group at a fictional community college. Warner will play Shirley's (Yvette Nicole Brown) estranged husband, who has a womanizing reputation but charms most of Shirley's study group. "You've heard all these awful things Andre's done, and then you meet him and it's Bill Cosby's son," McHale's costar Donald Glover told the magazine.
