Azusa fire leaves 30 residents displaced

AZUSA, Calif. The fire was reported in an attic area of the complex on the 800 block of South Citrus Avenue at 5:24 p.m. Monday.

The fire was put out in 21 minutes, but nine apartments are red-tagged - one for fire damage and eight for utilities. The American Red Cross is helping the displaced residents.

One firefighter hurt his ankle, but no residents were hurt.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
