CHINO, Calif. --
Fire crews on Monday worked to put out a fire at a recycling plant in Chino that is expected to burn for about 24 hours.Firefighters responded to the blaze along Hellman Avenue near Chino Corona Road after piles of green waste caught fire at about 6 p.m. Sunday. Authorities said because green waste is densely packed, the fire is expected to burn into the night on Monday. Crews are using bulldozers to try to break it up.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. No homes are being threatened.
