Tiki torches banned in Laguna Beach

LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. The city council adopted California building and fire codes along with stricter rules for outdoor fires. Lawmakers said public safety and insurance concerns contributed to their decision.

Wood burning fire pits will also become illegal beginning June 2011.
