Penguin march attracts crowds at Japan zoo

It is time for the march of the penguins at the Asahikawa Zoo in Hokkaido, Japan.

Seventeen penguins paraded through a 500-yard-long walking course for about a half-hour.

The popular annual event started in 2002 to give the animals some exercise because they became a little overweight during this time of year.

The event will continue throughout the snowfall season until mid-March.
