"Ghetto Klown" will follow the early days of Leguizamo's acting career as well as his roles in Hollywood. It will follow in the tradition of his shows "Spic-O-Rama," "Freak" and "Sexaholix."
Leguizamo's new show will be directed by Fisher Stevens.
Leguizamo won an Emmy for his monologue "Freak," which originally appeared on Broadway in 1998.
He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his supporting role in 1995's "To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar."
