Study: Kids do better with pen than keyboard

LOS ANGELES A new study tested more than 200 grade school kids in writing with both a pen and computer keyboard. The results found students wrote more -- and faster -- when using a pen.

In addition, fourth and sixth graders wrote more complete sentences when using a pen.

Researchers believe kids make better connections with the written word.

Ten million U.S. kids are now eligible for therapy due to illegible handwriting.
