Blizzard warning issued in AZ, NM, WY, MT, NE

NEW YORK Other parts of the country face winter warnings, watches or advisories.

In the meantime, New York City is still covered with Monday's snow, and residents are angry that many streets aren't plowed. In Brooklyn, three out of four streets are still covered in snow.

"We did not do as good a job as we wanted to do, or as the city has a right to expect," said New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz described the mess as a "royal screw-up."

Airlines continued to cancel hundreds of flights Thursday as a new storm threatened to affect more flights out of the Midwest. Officials warn it may take until after new year's day to start clearing the blizzard backup.
