3 women shot in 2 separate South LA shootings

SOUTH LOS ANGELES The first shooting happened at about 2:10 a.m. at 57th Street and Seventh Avenue, where a woman in her 50s was shot twice. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was listed in serious condition.

About 20 minutes later, police say a woman was shot in the back and another in the stomach at 65th Street and Brynhurst Avenue. The victim who was shot in the stomach was in critical condition Friday, while the woman shot in the back is in stable condition.

Witnesses reported seeing a gray or silver SUV at both locations. Anyone with information related to the shootings is asked to call the LAPD 77th Street Station at (213) 485-4164.
