Los Angeles charter schools are getting an increase in funds for educating disabled students. The L.A. Board of Education has approved a deal that will funnel more money to charter schools for special education programs.

The money comes from the state. Previously, the L.A. Unified School District reserved the special education money for non-charter campuses.
