OC attorney charged with sex with teens

Matthew Christopher Tye, a 31-year-old real estate attorney, was charged with having sex with two teenage girls at his home in Irvine.

An Orange County attorney was charged with unlawful sex with two minors, and authorities were seeking other possible victims.Matthew Tye, 31, is charged with three felony counts of sexual assault against a minor under 16, and eight felony counts of sexual assault against a minor. The first minor was 14 at the time of the alleged assaults; the second victim was 17.

Tye also was charged with two felony counts of dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.

Tye was arrested by Orange County Sheriff's deputies. He was held on $500,000 bail.

Tye is accused of meeting the 17-year-old unidentified female online, then meeting with her for unlawful sex several times at his home and in a Disneyland parking lot.

He is also accused of unlawful sex with the 14-year-old unidentified female multiple times in his home.

Tye is also accused of having several videotapes of himself having sex with apparent minor females. Those females had not been identified Thursday.
