Guests stay in capsules at new Chinese hotel

China's newest hotel may not have the largest rooms, but it's getting plenty of attention. The country's first capsule hotel has opened in Shanghai.

Instead of actual rooms, guests stay in one of the hotel's 68 capsules. The capsules have their own lighting, bedding, alarm clock, flat screen TV and Wi-Fi.

The capsules are about three-and-a-half feet tall and about seven feet long.

While it maybe not the best option for claustrophobic travelers, it is a good option for the budget-conscious customer. A 10-hour stay costs about $10.
