Actor Charlie Sheen is in rehab, but he's already thinking about returning to work, according to his publicist.

Sheen's spokesman Stan Rosenfield said Sheen would like to be back on the set of "Two and a Half Men" this month.

A week ago, Sheen was rushed to a hospital with what his publicist called severe stomach pains. It was the third time in as many months that the 45-year-old actor had been hospitalized. Sheen was released from the hospital the same day.

The show has two episodes of the top-rated comedy ready to air. Production on his show was shut down.

Sheen spoke out for the first time Wednesday in a statement that said, "I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people."

"To my fans, your good wishes have touched me very much. Like Errol Flynn who had to put down his sword on occasion, I just want to say thank you."
