Jack Black has been chosen to host Nickelodeon's 2011 Kids' Choice Awards for the third time and the ceremony is set to air live from the Galen Center at USC in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 2, at 8 p.m. ET.

Black is nominated for an award for his role in his recent movie, "Gulliver's Travels" and is also known for films such as "School of Rock" and "Kung Fu Panda" as well as for his rock band Tenacious D. He hosted the Kids' Choice Awards in 2006 and 2008.

In November, the actor reunited with his "School of Rock" co-star, Kids' Choice Award nominee Miranda Cosgrove, on a television movie back on her Nickelodeon comedy series "iCarly."

"Jack Black is the perfect mix of comedy, rock and star-power that will set the tone for an amazing show," Marjorie Cohn, President, Original Programming and Development at Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group and executive producer of the show, said in a statement. "Jack is always an exciting host because of his unpredictability, incredible comedic timing and ability to connect with our audience. We're really excited to have him back."

Aside from Cosgrove, the 2011 Kids' Choice Award nominees include "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and rumored love interest Justin Bieber, the movie "Toy Story 3," singers Katy Perry and Taylor Swift and the pop-rock group the Jonas Brothers.

Viewers can vote for their favorite nominees on the official Nickelodeon website beginning on March 7.
