The city of Burbank is re-thinking its law that forces food trucks to keep moving.

The law on the books requires the popular gourmet trucks to move at least 1,000 feet every 15 minutes.

They can return to their original parking place after they've made 12 stops over the course of three hours.

Burbank officials are reconsidering those restrictions after the Southern California Mobile Food Vendors Association pointed out Burbank's rule violates state law.

Gourmet food trucks with wide ranging specialty menus are popular restaurant alternatives.
