Authorities said the men drove up to a 12-year-old girl near Darby and Gruwell streets at 2:15 on Friday.
The girl said one man yelled "get her" before the driver got out of the car. At that point, the girl immediately ran away.
The vehicle, described as a small, older, white four-door car, has been seen in the area before. Authorities said the four men had whistled at the same 12-year-old girl a week earlier.
Police said the car also has two or three scratches on the driver's side passenger rear door.
