/*Garden Grove Police Department*/ officers received a call from the /*Santa Ana Police Department*/ saying a woman had jumped out of her vehicle on the eastbound 22 Freeway at Magnolia Street shortly before 3 a.m. on Saturday.
A nearby motorist apparently saw the woman jump from her car, picked her up, took her to his home in Santa Ana and alerted police.
She was pronounced dead when officers and fire officials arrived at the man's home.
After an in-depth investigation, Garden Grove police determined that the woman did indeed jump from her moving car and struck her head causing blunt force trauma.
The cause of death was still under investigation.
The identities of those involved were not immediately released.
