Kate Winslet will soon be a published author.

It was announced on Wednesday that Simon & Schuster will publish a book by the Academy Award-winning actress called "The Golden Hat" that will feature a collection of self portraits from celebrities wearing a "magical" hat to support autism awareness, according to a statement from the publishing company.

The book will feature photos of Christina Aguilera, Ben Stiller, Demi Moore, Ellen Page, Javier Bardem, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jude Law, Julianne Moore, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Marion Cottillard, Meryl Streep; Michael Kors, Anna Wintour, Naomi Watts, Ricky Gervais and more. It is set for release in November 2011, according to the statement.

Winslet found inspiration for this project after she narrated a documentary film, "A Mother's Courage: Talking Back To Autism," and met the family, Margret Dagmar Ericsdottir and Ericsdottir's son Keli, at the heart of the film. Kelli lives with a severe form of non-verbal autism and the film centered around the family's mission to find a way to connect with Keli.

Poems by Keli, who learned to communicate with the help of specialists, will also be published in the book, including one called "The Golden Hat." The name of the poem also inspired by The Golden Hat Foundation, which raises awareness about autism.

The 35-year-old actress rose to fame with the 1997 film "Titanic" and won her first Oscar for her role in the 2008 movie "The Reader."

Audience will see the actress in the upcoming HBO film, "Mildred Pierce." Winslet plays the title character, a divorced, single mother who decides to open a restaurant business. Her new business venture does not help her strained relationship with her daughter, Veda, played by Wood. The miniseries is based on a 1941 novel by James M. Cain and is set to premiere at on March 27 at 9 p.m. ET.
