The Obama Administration is offering a $5 million reward in last month's deadly shooting of a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent.

Jaime Zapata was attacked and killed while driving back from San Luis Potosi to Mexico City. Another agent was wounded in the ambush.

Mexican authorities have detained several people in connection to the murder.

One told them the gunmen mistook the agents' SUV for that of a rival gang.

Mexico also has announced an $835,000 reward in the case.
