13 sickened by recalled Salmonella-tainted cantaloupes

Recalled cantaloupes tainted by salmonella have sickened 13 people.

The Del Monte Fresh brand cantaloupes were sold in five states, including California.

Two people in California have been sickened by the salmonella, but no deaths have been reported.

The cantaloupes were packaged in plastic beige mesh sleeves and marked "3 count, product of Guatemala".

The products were sold between March 10 and March 21.
