Police have made arrests in the case of three USC students who were robbed of their cell phones near campus Monday night.

Investigators said they have "possible" suspects in custody, but have provided no further information.

The robberies just north of USC took place on the 2700 block of Ellendale Place, the 1100 block of West 29th Street and the 2700 block of Hoover Street.

The three male victims were threatened either with a gun or metal bars.
