Judge: No right to sell 'The Chronic' online

LOS ANGELES

The new company is called Wideawake Death Row Records.

Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, sued the company claiming it was improperly selling "The Chronic" digitally and using some of his music on compilation albums without his permission.

The judge ruled Tuesday that Dr. Dre is entitled to 100 percent of the proceeds from the online sales of the 1992 album.

The attorney for Wideawake Death Row Records has not yet publicly commented about the ruling.
