More than a thousand people have signed an online petition asking the company to drop its Shape Up shoes for young girls.
Shape Ups are designed to work out your legs while you walk and the sneakers are being marketed to girls between the ages of 7 and 12.
Many parents have signed the petition, saying it's inappropriate to get youngsters so focused on the shape of their bodies.
Skechers has not commented on the petition.
