Researchers say they've found a link between early use of antibiotics and increased risk of developing asthma.

Researchers looked at data from 22 studies. They say the results suggest infants who are given antibiotics within the first year of life are 50 percent more likely to be diagnosed with asthma by age 18.

The studies also found children whose mothers took antibiotics during pregnancy were nearly 25 percent more likely to have asthma.
