That's exactly what a Hesperia couple encountered. A husband and wife noticed some items looking torn in their garage.
They figured it was a raccoon or squirrel, only to find a 100-pound mountain lion instead. They closed the garage and called 911.
Animal control officers tranquilized the animal and took it back to the wild.
