Earl Ellis Green pleaded not guilty to the murder of a Riverside police officer Friday. Green appeared in Riverside Superior Court.

Green allegedly shot and killed 27-year-old Riverside Police Officer Ryan Bonaminio in November during a foot chase.

Police say Bonaminio's patrol car dashboard-camera shows Green when he allegedly stole a tractor-trailer, hit a car and took off running.

Green is charged with one count of murder along with two special-circumstances enhancements.

Prosecutors say they will seek the death penalty if Green is convicted.

Green's attorney says he may seek a change of venue.

Green is scheduled to be back in court July 8.
