Calif. AG not investigating Schwarzenegger

SACRAMENTO

Sources close to California Attorney General Kamala Harris said no such investigation is under way, and Schwarzenegger's attorney Martin Singer confirmed the news saying, "The AG's office informed us that there was never any investigation over this tabloid story."

Schwarzenegger became a regular target for tabloids after the explosive revelation of his affair and child with housekeeper Mildred Baena.

Baena was married at the time of the affair but filed for divorce from her husband, Rogelio Baena, in 2008. According to legal documents obtained by Eyewitness News, the couple's divorce is still pending. The couple legally separated in 1997, 21 days after the birth of the baby fathered by Schwarzenegger.

Baena, the boy and her other children live in an upscale neighborhood in Bakersfield.
