IE man kidnaps ex-wife, daughter with fake gun

Riverside County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a woman and her daughter being held at gunpoint in Homeland Thursday.

Jurupa Valley resident Bruce Willis, 24, allegedly kidnapped his ex-wife and daughter at about 11 a.m. Thursday. The woman called 911 and reported Willis was threatening to kill her, her daughter and himself.

Sheriff's deputies found Willis at a residence at 26550 Joppe Ave. in Homeland.

Willis barricaded himself inside and held a gun to his ex-wife's head.

Deputies were able to disable Willis with a Taser and he was arrested.

Willis's gun was found to be a replica.

His ex-wife and daughter were not injured.

Willis is charged on suspicion of kidnapping, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, making terrorist threats and burglary.
