A computer science student has been charged with a dozen felony counts after authorities say he illegally installed software that let him spy on women.

Trevor Harwell, 20, was a technician at his father's computer company in Brea. Authorities say he installed spyware on the computers of six female customers, which gave him access to their webcams. They say he recorded the women undressing without their knowledge.

He's currently out on $50,000 bail. If convicted on all charges he faces up to six years in prison.
