Beyonce is set to release a new fragrance called, Pulse, in September 2011, according to a statement by her partner company Coty Beauty. The latest perfume will join her 'Heat' and 'Heat Rush' collections, which are part of her Beyonce Parfums portfolio.

"I believe my music makes women feel strong, and Pulse is all about finding that power inside," Beyonce said in a statement about the inspiration behind her new perfume.

The singer spoke to People magazine about the fragrance on Thursday saying, "I love the idea of a signature scent that lets a woman leave her mark wherever she goes, so I always try to make my scents appropriate for any occasion."

The print ad, which can be seen above, was photographed by Lionel Gasperini, according to the magazine.

"We are excited to follow the success of Beyonce Heat and Heat Rush with the launch of Pulse, sure to be another star fragrance for Beyonce Parfums," Steve Mormoris, Senior Vice President, Coty Beauty, said in a statement. "Like Beyonce herself, Beyonce Pulse is powerful, feminine and one-of-a-kind. The woman who wears Beyonce Pulse is impossible to ignore."

In May, the singer unleashed her video for her latest single, "Run the World (Girls)." The song is off her upcoming album titled "4" and is set for release on June 28.

The singer's new album was recorded over the span of a year, according to a press release from Beyonce's record label, Columbia Records. "The title signifies not only the artist's fourth solo offering and the day of her birth but it is also a personal gift to her fans," the press release said. "For over one year now her fans around the world took to their social media pages urging her to name the album for her special number."
