Deputy Mike Musto was recently patrolling I-95 when he clocked a motorcyclist speeding at more than 110 mph.
Musto pulled the motorcyclist over and that's when the situation got hairy.
"I knew he was going to take off so I grabbed him by the shoulder, right below his right shoulder, and I had a good strong grip on him," described Musto. "Well at this point, he got the gear and hit it so hard it jerked me thrown me out. Jerked me right off my feet."
Musto was dragged about 200 feet before he let go.
The 34-year veteran of the force ran back to his squad car and tracked down the motorcyclist at a nearby barber shop, where he worked.
