Susan Boyle's rise to fame inspires musical

LONDON

The show, which will tour in Britain, the United States and Australia, is about Boyle becoming an Internet sensation after her performance on the TV show "Britain's Got Talent" in 2009.

Boyle was a shy, forty-something church volunteer before appearing on the show. She has since sold more than 14 million records.

The musical is set to open in March in England before a six-month tour.
