Glen Campbell to tour despite Alzheimer's diagnosis

LOS ANGELES

The music veteran told People magazine he still loves making music and he still loves performing for his fans - and that's just what he plans to do.

Campbell is working on setting up "The Glen Campbell Goodbye Tour" where he will, no doubt, sing some of his classics, including "Rhinestone Cowboy," "Gentle On My Mind" and "By the Time I Get To Phoenix."

Campbell's wife, Kim, says they decided to go public with his disease because if he flubs a lyric or gets confused on stage she doesn't want fans to think he's drunk.

The itinerary for his world tour will be announced soon.
