Small plane loses power, forced to land in El Monte

EL MONTE, Calif.

The plane was forced to land at the south side of El Monte Airport, according to the Los Angeles County Fire and El Monte Police departments, and the FAA.

According to the /*Federal Aviation Administration*/, the plane, a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza reportedly lost power and either made a forced or a crash landing at the airport.

Only the pilot was on board the aircraft. The pilot was reportedly not injured.

The pilot was reportedly flying from Chino to Camarillo and diverted to El Monte after experiencing engine problems.
