Two abandoned kittens in Abbeville now have a new mom, a golden retriever named Missy.
Missy's owners say after their son found the kittens on the side of the road and brought them home, Missy went into mommy mode immediately.
"She cleans them, teaches them things that a mama dog would treat their puppies," said Missy's owner Felicia Wojtala. "She treats them no different than she did her puppies."
Missy's family also says her last litter was more than a year ago, so they're surprised that she can nurse the kittens too.
Missy will continue her role as mom until the kittens are six weeks old and available for adoption.
