Ottawa, Canada is gearing up for the huge crowds expected to greet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when they arrive later this week.
Police are concerned about the huge crowds.
"The biggest concern here is just that outpouring of affection and that it doesn't become something that's going to get somebody hurt," said former Ottawa police officer Doug Kirkland.
William and Kate arrive in Canada on Thursday and will then head to Southern California a week from Friday.
