'Forever young' drug found on Easter Island?

Scientists say a "forever young" drug has been found on Easter Island, the Chilean territory known for its massive stone sculptures.

The chemical for the drug rapamycin comes from the island soil.

Researchers say it cleans out unhealthy cells, reversing the effects of premature aging and extending life by over a decade.

The drug is being used in experiments on children who suffer from progeria, the genetic condition that speeds up the aging process.
