LOS ANGELES --
A Compton man has been arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching young girls at a local pool. Lifeguards said they saw Darnell Island, 32, touching the girls, who ranged in age from 9 to 13, at the Ted Watkins Memorial Park pool on East 103rd Street in Watts.
The lifeguards called sheriff's deputies, who found four victims who said they had been approached and touched by Island.
Island is being held on $100,000 bail.
