Officers were looking into the call Wednesday afternoon at a house on the 3600 block of West 133rd Street. They found the illegal fireworks in the house.
Some of the fireworks were labeled with handwritten price tags, leading police to believe the fireworks were being sold.
Authorities issued a citation for possession of illegal fireworks.
