The company said by the end of June, 875,000 people had signed up for the $8-a-month service. Those customers get access to a deep catalog of TV shows and can watch on mobile devices.
Hulu's current owners, News Corporation, Comcast and Walt Disney recently put the company up for sale.
It's been rumored that Google and Yahoo have both shown interest.
Disney is the parent company of ABC7.
