'All My Children,' 'One Life to Live' to continue online

LOS ANGELES

ABC will air its final episode of "All My Children" on Friday, Sept. 23. ABC's final episode of "One Life to Live" will air in January 2012.

"We are privileged to continue the legacy of two of the greatest programs to air on daytime television," said Rich Frank and Jeff Kwatinetz of Prospect Park in a statement. "We believe that by continuing to produce the shows in their current hour format and with the same quality, viewers will follow the show to our new, online network."

Release dates for the online versions of "All My Children" and "One Life To Live" have not been announced.

With the end of the two iconic shows, ABC will launch two new shows called "The Chew" and "The Revolution."
