The recall affects Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups from 2008 to 2011.
Chrysler says a bad part in the steering system can cause drivers to lose control of the truck. The problem happens mainly at low speeds when drivers are making tight turns.
The company says drivers have reported a few minor crashes and one minor injury.
