A man suspected of fatally shooting a teenager over an insulting text message turned himself in on Thursday.

Zareh Manjikian reportedly showed up at the courthouse in Van Nuys in the afternoon and was arrested by federal authorities. He will be arraigned either Friday or Monday.

Manjikian is accused of murdering 19-year-old Mike Yepremyan nearly two years ago in North Hollywood after Yepremyan apparently sent a text message insulting a friend of Majikian's girlfriend.

Earlier this year, authorities caught up with Manjikian in Puerto Rico. However, a judge there allowed him to post bond in May, despite a no-bail arrest warrant from L.A. authorities.
