Ventura County Sheriff's Department detectives said the marijuana could have sold for more than $205 million.
The pot farm was found in June on the north slope of Pine Mountain, east of Highway 33 and south of Lockwood Valley Road. There have been no arrests.
The 68,488 plants were uprooted on July 13, and sheriff's officials said it's the largest crop ever sieved in the county.
Investigators found numerous pot-growing campsites in the area. At the sites, several hundred pounds of equipment were found, including tents, propane stoves, sleeping bags, fertilizers and pesticides.
Detectives also found a 9 mm handgun, a .22-caliber rifle and ammunition for a variety of other handguns and rifles.
Authorities said there was also evidence of poaching, as the remains of deer and other small animals were found near the camps.
