The incident happened in the 46700 block of Lilac Court around 3:30 a.m. Police say the suspect fled the scene in a two-door Nissan Altima.
"Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult females had been shot while at the location during a house party," said Officer Benjamin Guitron from the Indio Police Department. "Both females, for unknown reasons, had a confrontation outside the front area of the home with an unknown adult male and were both shot by the male with a handgun."
Authorities said the victims were taken to a local hospital and were in stable condition.
