"It's going to be a good time. It's going to be me and her at the Marine Corps Ball this year. I know it. So, call me," said Sgt. Ray Lewis on a YouTube video.
In a statement released by a representative, the 89-years-young actress gently turned down Lewis' date request.
"I am deeply flattered and truly appreciate the invitation, as everyone knows I love a man in uniform, but unfortunately I cannot accept as I will be taping an episode of 'Hot In Cleveland.' Love, Betty White," she said in the statement.
Two other celebrities have accepted invitations sent via YouTube. A female Marine asked Justin Timberlake to be her date to the ball and he accepted.
His "Friends with Benefits" co-star Mila Kunis confirmed that she's going with a sergeant.
